ST. JOSEPH SCHOOL

In early 2017, Lighthouse Ministries began fundraising to build a new school for St. Joseph due to their old building’s severe issues. By September 2019, St. Joseph Primary School opened its doors, providing a quality educational environment for its students.

Lighthouse Ministries members agreed that these children needed a complete new school structure. In early 2017, Lighthouse Ministries starting fundraising to start construction of the new St. Joseph school. Their old school building flooded each rainfall and it had ceilings that could fall any moment. Additionally, with no running water, and no government funding, children who were doing their best to earn an education were forced to get it in a building that is falling apart around them.

Thanks to the many donors, supporters, thoughts, prayers, fundraisers, pennies, and efforts we were able to see our dream become a reality. As of September 2nd, 2019, St. Joseph Primary School in the Cayo District of Belize has been able to give a quality experience in education for their students and facility.
